Obama

I’m taking a brief break from work to watch the inauguration, live. Hurrah!

  1. I hope you don’t mind me saying this but you sound like the typical Obama supporter.Obama is the same ol’ politician in a different suit and folks that voted for him are starting to figure that out.

If you mean that I am a typical Obama supporter because, like all those who thought he was the best viable candidate in that election, I celebrated his inauguration, well, er… duh! Was that really a point worth making?

If you mean I’m a typical Obama supporter in a general sense, then I do mind, because I’d rather not be swept up in such a generalisation.

Also, it strikes me that – contrary to your comment – Obama’s suits are far more similar to his predecessor’s than his actions or his opinions are.
